The virtual learning program provides students in grades 7-12 a path toward graduation and receipt of a diploma through an online, virtual curriculum. Each course follows the Course of Study developed by the Alabama Department of Education.
There are benefits to the program in terms of time flexibility; however, the virtual curriculum is rigorous and requires that students be highly motivated and self-disciplined. To be successful, virtual students must have mastered time management, personal responsibility, and self-direction.
