My name is Jessica Johnigan. I was hired as the School Counselor at Guin Elementary School in 2015. I graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from the University of Auburn-Montgomery in 2007 and my Master’s in Professional School Counseling from the University of West Alabama in 2011. I have been blessed with three smart and silly daughters; Haley, Audrey, and Taylor. My favorite part of being a school counselor is that I get to listen to the important stuff. I get to help little voices feel heard loud and clear, and then I get to watch as those little voices grow bigger and more confident. Everyone deserves to feel heard!
