HHS would like to congratulate two of our juniors, Braelyn Ingram and Kinsley Conrad, on their graduation from the Marion Winston Youth Leadership Academy today. This program allowed these two students to receive leadership skills training and tour several different industries. Thank you Dr. Bishop for your support of our students and this program!

HHS Sophomores toured Northwest Shoals Community College - Shoals Campus today. Thank you Career Coach, Heather McCarley, for setting this up for us!











Marion County Principals, Assistant Principals, and Central Office Administrators strive to be lifelong learners. We have participated in two years of administrative leadership training that involved both individual coaching at the school level and system whole group training. Kacy Pierce, Denise Woods, and Cheryl Capps were our trainers and mentors. During the process they have become partners and friends of Marion County Schools.

On Wednesday, April 24th, HHS Juniors toured the Culinary Arts Management and Hospitality and Events Management Departments on UNA's East Campus then toured the Main Campus. Special thank you to our Career Coach, Heather McCarley, for setting everything up for this tour!











Our softball team will be hosting the area tournament tomorrow. Students are allowed to check out by normal check out procedures to go to the games. No notes or check outs by phone call.

Hackleburg 8th-12th grade Educational Talent Search students attended Great Escape at Bevill State Community College. Congratulations to our contest winners Kass Lawler-1st Place Art, Brody Wood-2nd Place Art, Zella White-2nd Place Talent!

Congratulations to the Hackleburg High School Golf Team! They finished first in the Red Bay Tournament today! Aiden and Noah Pimentel also made the All-Tournament Team!



We will continue our ACAP testing tomorrow for our 7th and 8th graders. Both grades will complete the math sessions tomorrow and 8th grade will complete the science sessions on Wednesday to wrap up our testing for this school year. We encourage our students to get a good nights rest. Please make sure that students arrive to school on time and encourage them to do their best!
