Welcome to Hamilton High School!

We are honored that you have taken the time to visit our website. Hamilton High School is a member of the Marion County School System. We trace our heritage back to 1895 when the first school was founded in Hamilton. In those early years, we were known as the West Alabama Agricultural School. The community of Hamilton is nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in Northwest Alabama. At Hamilton High School, we continuously strive to provide our students with the highest quality education. We offer multiple diploma tracks and we have partnered with the University of Alabama Early College, Bevill State Community College, and the University of North Alabama to provide numerous dual-enrollment opportunities for our students. Whether your student is preparing for college, a career in a career-technical field, or entering the workforce upon graduation, we are equipping our students with opportunities to make any of these dreams a reality.

We value academics, the arts, and athletics at Hamilton High School and believe that all three are essential to the culture of our school and community. So, whether your student loves Friday night lights, theater, music, the marching band, dance, or just coming to school, they have a place here at HHS! We look forward to hearing from you soon!
