Welcome to Phillips High School!

 I would like to welcome everyone to Phillips High School. As a part of the Marion County School System, Phillips is located in the Bear Creek community in the northwestern part of Alabama. We are a rural, community school that takes pride in providing multiples opportunities for student success. Whether it is academic, athletic, or extra-curricular, we believe student success and opportunity should drive our mission.

At Phillips High School, we offer standard as well as honors diploma options to all students. Additionally, students are afforded opportunities of Advanced Placement as well as Dual Enrollment credits in many core subjects. Athletically, we compete in eight varsity sports within the Alabama High School Athletic Association. Fielding teams in Football, Volleyball, Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Golf, and Track & Field. Phillips High School is proud to have earned State Championships in Girls Basketball in 1985, 1986, and most recently in 2019. Our volleyball team was also named State Champions in 2001. We provide other opportunities for our students through a wealth of clubs and organizations, including band and finishing.
