School will resume for Marion County students on Wednesday, August 7th, and motorists will be sharing the road with school buses once again. Please allow additional time in your daily commute to accommodate more traffic, including buses, on the roadways. Our Transportation Department operates with our children’s safety as its number one priority. Please help them keep our children safe by keeping a watchful eye for school buses and being mindful of the law which pertains to them.

Marion County Principals, Assistant Principals, and Central Office Administrators strive to be lifelong learners. We have participated in two years of administrative leadership training that involved both individual coaching at the school level and system whole group training. Kacy Pierce, Denise Woods, and Cheryl Capps were our trainers and mentors. During the process they have become partners and friends of Marion County Schools.

Tomorrow & Wednesday is Thinking Caps for ACAP. Students may wear caps at no charge.

Tomorrow is the last day for our playground fundraiser. Please send cash/check donations tomorrow.
Thank you for always supporting our school.

Tomorrow our students will begin the ACAP. Please help them get a good night's rest, eat a healthy breakfast, and get to school on time.
Tonight remind your children how wonderful they are, and let them be kids! Too many of our students are anxious and worried about the ACAP. We want them to know they are worth more than a test. They are unique, talented, kind, funny, loving.....so many things not reflected on a test. Every single day, they make us proud to be Panthers. ❤️

Our coin drive to raise money for new playground equipment is still going! You don't need to sort or roll the coins; just send it in a ziploc bag with the teacher's name! We will use the coin machine to sort it and count it! Load up your child in the morning with all the change you can spare!
