Summer School Registration/ Credit Advancement registration is today and tomorrow 8-11 in the office.

Due to threat of rain, we will be having our graduation ceremony in J. Shelton Akers Gymnasium at 7:30.

Barry Kerr (Small Group Counselor), Bridget Perkins (School Based Mental Health Therapist), and Ashley Seaborn (Mental Health Services Coordinator - not shown) were recognized at today's board meeting for Mental Health Awareness Month. We are grateful to have them!


Our Marion County High School Girls Track and Field Team was recognized at today's board meeting for their Class 1A State Championship. Congratulations!


Due to the threat of severe weather, all Marion County Schools will be delayed two hours tomorrow, Thursday, May 9th. Be weather aware and stay safe!


Sports physicals for the 24-25 school year are this Friday at 10 am. $10 cash only. Parent signature must be on the physical in order for student to get one.
Students taking the AP test Friday will still need to bring money and paper to get physical after the test.

Girls 1A State Champs



Marion County Principals, Assistant Principals, and Central Office Administrators strive to be lifelong learners. We have participated in two years of administrative leadership training that involved both individual coaching at the school level and system whole group training. Kacy Pierce, Denise Woods, and Cheryl Capps were our trainers and mentors. During the process they have become partners and friends of Marion County Schools.


Donations being taken up for the fellow Lamar County seniors of Chaney Livingston are due tomorrow at end of day.
