Marion County Principals, Assistant Principals, and Central Office Administrators strive to be lifelong learners. We have participated in two years of administrative leadership training that involved both individual coaching at the school level and system whole group training. Kacy Pierce, Denise Woods, and Cheryl Capps were our trainers and mentors. During the process they have become partners and friends of Marion County Schools.

Donations being taken up for the fellow Lamar County seniors of Chaney Livingston are due tomorrow at end of day.

Parents/Guardians:
Health Hero will be offering vaccines on April 24th at MCHS. This is a great time to get the REQUIRED Tdap vaccine for your student free of charge at school. There are also other vaccines offered: MCB (meningococcal) and HPV (Human Papillomavirus) but the only one required by Alabama law for this age group is the Tdap (Tetanus, Diptheria, Purtussis). This vaccine was given to your child at around 5 years old and a booster should have been given just after your child turned 11 years old. If this booster was not given at that time, it needs to be done now.
If you would like your child to receive any of these vaccines, consent forms may be picked up in the office. You may also call me and I can send one home with your child. Make sure you place your initials next to the vaccine that you wish for your child to receive. Remember, the Tdap is required by Alabama law. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Please send back the completed consent form by Monday, April 15, 2024.
Thank you!
