The first week of summer Literacy and Math camp is in full swing! ❤️🐻

Tomorrow is the first day of summer literacy and math camp! We look forward to seeing some of our bears back on campus. 🐻 ☀️ 🕶️

We are proud to announce that PES is the Region 1 Winner of the OMI 2024 Spring Mathematics Challenge. Thank you to all of the parents, students, and teachers that participated and made this possible. Mrs. Hallman and Mrs. Wilson are pictured with Mrs. Paula Pounders, the Region 1 coordinator for OMI. #omialsde

Thank You 3M of Guin for your generous donation of 5 brand new IPads to Phillips Elementary School. Our students were so excited to use them!

Have a safe and fun summer break!

This week, Mrs. Watts and Mrs. Misner have kept the learning going strong with their classes. They exploded a watermelon and the students predicted the amount of force that was going to be needed for it to happen.
Then, they did a water bottle flip challenge. Students had to fill their bottles using fractions and discussed which amount of water was better for the bottle flip by looking at the data that was collected. ❤️🐻
