The road from Highway 17 to the Hamilton Elementary playground and the road around the playground will be closed next week, July 22nd-26th. This includes all areas behind the lunchroom and the Nurse Office. Thank you for your understanding and assistance.

No action is required by parents for students to eat free. Please note the first complete meal is free, however extra plates or items must be purchased. Marion County Principals, Assistant Principals, and Central Office Administrators strive to be lifelong learners. We have participated in two years of administrative leadership training that involved both individual coaching at the school level and system whole group training. Kacy Pierce, Denise Woods, and Cheryl Capps were our trainers and mentors. During the process they have become partners and friends of Marion County Schools.
The National Weather Service has put us under a level 3 threat of severe weather this afternoon. Therefore, all Marion County Schools will dismiss at 1:00 p.m. this afternoon in order to give our buses time to get all of our students home safely. Be weather aware, and stay safe!
All Marion County Schools will be closed for Spring Break March 25-29, 2024. School will resume on Monday, April 1st. Have fun and stay safe!
The Hamilton High School HOSA Prom Promise Mock Wreck will be tomorrow, Wednesday, March 20 at 10:00 am. The "wreck" will be at the intersection by the Hamilton Fire Department. Please do not be alarmed if you see emergency personnel or AirEvac in that area around that time.

SLOW DOWN as the amber flashing caution lights are activated. STOP as the red lights and stop sign are activated.

Hamilton Police Officers had a successful week during “Operation Stop or Be Stopped.” At least one citation was issued each day, and on some days, MULTIPLE citations. Officers will continue to issue citations and monitor the bus routes where they receive multiple complaints.

There will be no school for Marion County students tomorrow, March 1st, 2024. This will be a workday for teachers.
Next week, high school students will have the opportunity to participate
