PHS Job Shadowing 2023! Senior students had the opportunity to explore real world career options today while job shadowing in Russellville. Thank you to Mrs. Heather McCarley, MCBE Career Coach, for her hard work setting it all up and to the following businesses for their participation: G&G Steel, Morgan Chiropractic, Keith's Automotive, Go Vertical Aviation, Russellville Animal Clinic, Russellville Hospital, Hello Gorgeous, Encore Rehabilitation, and the Russellville Mayor's Office.


PHS students will have the opportunity to participate in the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 4th. Students who want to participate need plan to meet at the flagpole at 7:45 in the morning.

Come join us for our end-of-the-year concert on Thursday, May 4th at 6:00 pm! If you are interested in our spaghetti dinner that night, please let us know as soon as possible ($12 for adults. $6 for kids). We have limited plates left! Concert admission will be $5 at the door the night off!

We are aware of the social media post concerning a threat made to schools in a neighboring county. To our knowledge, there have been no threats made to Marion County Schools. However, our local law enforcement has been made aware of the situation, and our schools will operate on a soft lockdown today only as a precautionary measure.


PHS and Marion County Schools are aware of recent threats made toward area schools through social media on Wednesday, April 26th. Law enforcement has been informed and will continue to investigate the situation. PHS will be in session tomorrow and will practice enhanced safety precautions to insure the safety of all students.

Abigail Keller and Lauren Welch attended the National Career Development Conference in Orlando, FL. Abigail earned 1st Place in Employability Skills. PHS JAG was recognized as Outstanding NCA Chapter and received the Merit Award for its National Service Project and work with Habitat For Humanity. #jag #gobears










Mrs Lauderdale's students took the opportunity to work with 3D pens in Earth and Space science today.



Lauren Welch and Abby Keller begin the JAG National Conference today in Orlando, FL. Please wish them good luck as they represent PHS and Marion County.


Through the collection of aluminum cans, PHS JAG student were able to make a donation to aid in construction of a new home through the Shoals Habitat for Humanity organization. The actual home under construction is pictured below.
